Elcano Ship and Crew Visit
The Juan Sebastian Elcano is the Spanish Navy midshipman training vessel with a crew of 220 members. The vessel is named in honor of Juan Sebastian de Elcano, the first navigator to complete a voyage around the globe (alive). There will be several gatherings of crew and New Orleanians to welcome the Spaniards back to the crescent city.
